I am through with the AI racing deal. I can race with the AI cars without too much trouble, but when we get 6 or 8 aggressive AOR drivers out there and they start "Interacting" with the AI cars all HELL breaks loose and I get caught up in their MESS.
Like I said when this idea was brought up for discussion, If I want to race AI cars I will just do it OFFLINE, that way all I have o worry about is AI cars NOT AOR drivers causing problems with them.
I will continue to participate in the other series, But I am done with this one. I do this for FUN and I am not having FUN practicing for 1.5 hours only to be taken out of the race before half way.
Good Luck Guys.

Thanks

Sorry to hear that, Richard.

We created this series because we had a fair amount of drivers wanting larger fields.  We said from the get go that this would be a trial series.

Gary submitted some really good feedback suggesting that we should reduce the number of AI cars in the field.  His suggestion was to only have 5 or 10 AI cars.

What's everyone's take on reducing the number of AI cars?

10  to 15 AI Cars would be a good start.

Maybe turn their aggression down a few numbers also. I seen a couple people get dumped by ai cars last week.

I understand why the AI cars are there. All I am saying is that they blend with AOR drivers like Oil and Water.
Fewer AI cars may help, not sure. I will watch and see how you guys do next race. Sad

Thanks

Well as for me I like the concept because it puts a little strategy back in races.  As it is now in most series with the small fields its pretty much a sprint race with no tires being needed and no pit stop strategy. Its pretty much chase the guy (or two) with the fastest setup(s) and hope something ill befalls them.  I think that's why in many of the series the same one or two people seem to win most of the time.  I don't think there's a lot difference in the driving skills and experience of our folks.

I agree the AI cars can be a real pain in the hind end. I think most of us have fallen victim to them in these first couple races.  Having less of them and making sure there speeds are about the same as us real folks might be the answer.
